How to Play — Christmas Bingo

🎅 The Basics

Christmas Bingo is just like classic Bingo — with a whole lot more ho-ho-ho! Each player gets their own unique 5×5 card filled with numbers from 1–75, arranged across five columns: B I N G O.

The center square is a FREE SPACE — it’s already marked for you. Lucky you!
A Caller (that’s Santa, obviously) draws numbers one at a time.
When your number is called, daub it on your card.
First player to complete the winning pattern shouts “BINGO!” and wins the glory!

Every card is uniquely generated from its Card ID — so no two players have the exact same card. Fair and festive!

🎴 Getting Your Card

Head over to the Card Page and you’re ready to go. Here’s what you can do:

New Card — tap 🎅 New Card to get a freshly shuffled card with a unique ID.
Share Your Card — tap 🔗 Copy Link and send the link to a friend. They’ll load the exact same card so you can play together or verify a win.
Your card is saved automatically — close the tab, come back later, and it’ll be right where you left it.

🖍️ Marking Your Numbers

You have two ways to mark a called number — use whichever feels most festive!

Option 1 — Tap the square yourself

When a number is called, find it on your card and tap it. A colorful daub circle will appear. Tap it again to un-mark it if you made a mistake.

Option 2 — Type the number in

Use the Called Number box: type the number and tap Mark (or press Enter). If that number lives on your card, the app will daub it for you automatically — no searching required!

Numbers daubed automatically (by typing them in) are tracked separately. Hit Clear Called to undo all auto-marks at once without touching your manual daubing.

Before the game starts, pick a Win Pattern from the dropdown. The app checks for a winner automatically after every daub!

You can switch the Win Pattern at any time during a game. The app will instantly check if your current marks already form a winner — so switching to Blackout mid-game might make things very interesting!

🎉 Calling BINGO!

When you complete the winning pattern, the app will detect it automatically and light up your winning squares in gold. A big BINGO! celebration will appear on screen.

You can also tap the 🎉 Bingo! button at any time to manually check your card. Not a winner yet? No problem — the elves will let you know.
